下面只是从细节方面，对比一下Google和雅虎两者所提供的互联网翻译服务。
这是一个卖手机袋的阿里巴巴商品页面，因为是面向国际市场，页面语言是英文。不过因为阿里巴巴和雅虎的暧昧关系，页面顶部自带了雅虎的翻译服务。我同时也通过Google对这个页面进行了翻译。下面是具体的对比：
商品名：Mobile phone bags
雅虎翻译：移动电话袋子 （还真是贴心地啰嗦啊~~）
谷歌翻译：手机袋
原文：We are online!
雅虎翻译：我们是网上！（囧rz）
谷歌翻译：我们在线！
最囧的部分：
原文：4th Floor, No 7, Jian An Road, Block 3 of BaoAn District, Shenzhen,china 
雅虎翻译：4地板，没有7， Jian路，阻拦3 BaoAn区，深圳，瓷 （真直白呀，FLOOR=地板，china=瓷，block=阻拦，oh my god, No=7。这都怀疑这是故意恶搞的吧……）
谷歌翻译：四楼，没有7 ，歼一道， 3座深圳市宝安区，中国（哈哈，好了一点，不过机器毕竟还是机器啊，Jian an Road=歼一道，很有创意）
期待通过机器进行完美的翻译，尤其是东西方语言之间的翻译，是不现实滴，但是，雅虎被谷歌（Google）全面超越也不是没有原因的。
